AlliedBarton Security Services Scholarship
Field: Safety and Justice

AlliedBarton Security Services offers a $5,000 scholarship to a student pursuing an associate degree in justice at the Community College of Philadelphia. The recipient also completes an internship with AlliedBarton.

Braskem America Scholarship
Field: Process Technology

Braskem America provides a $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Process Technology. Student must have a 3.0 GPA from an accredited high school, be enrolled in at least six hours of program specific courses during each of their first two semesters and maintain full-time status to be eligible for the program.

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company Scholarship at San Jacinto College
Field: Process Technology, Instrumentation or Electronics Technology

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company supports scholarships for full-time students attending San Jacinto College.  Recipients are pursuing a degree in process technology, instruments or electronic technology.

Chevron Phillips Workforce Development Scholarship Program at Lee College
Field: Process Technology, Instrumentation or Electronics Technology

The Workforce Development Scholarship Program supports students in process technology, instrumentation technology and electrical technology programs.  Scholarships prepare students for careers in operations and maintenance in the petrochemical industry.

ExxonMobil Community College Petrochemical Initiative Scholarship

ExxonMobil partners with Texas Gulf Coast Community Colleges (TGCCC) to provide scholarships of up to $2,500 per year to students seeking careers in the petrochemical industry.

ExxonMobil PTEC Scholarship at Baton Rouge Community College
Field: Process Technology

The ExxonMobil PTEC Scholarship is open to entering freshmen at Baton Rouge Community College.  Recipients must be a process technology student, have a minimum 2.5 GPA and a minimum 17 ACT score.

GE Water and Process Technologies Scholarship at Texas State Technical College WACO

GE Water and Process Technologies sponsor a scholarship to Texas State Technical College, WACO for full-time students in good academic standing.

Georgia Gulf Process Technology Scholarship, Axiall Corporation
Field: Process Technology

Axiall Corporation sponsors a scholarship to Baton Rouge Community College of up to $1,000 for a resident of Iberville Parish, enrolled in process technology courses.

Louisiana’s TOPS Tech Award

The TOPS Tech Award pays tuition for skill or occupational training for Louisiana residents attending any schools within the Louisiana Community and Technical College System.  TOPS Tech Award requires a minimum 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment. It provides funding for up to two years of skill or occupational training.

Shell Process Technology Scholarship
Field: Process Technology, Petroleum Technology, Compressor/Compression Technology, Electrical/Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Instrumentation/Analyzer Technology or Machinist/Mechanical Technology

The Shell Process Technology Scholarship supports students who seek an education to obtain employment in the industries that use and control mechanical, physical, or chemical processes to produce a final product.

Vet2Tech – Veteran Scholarship Program

Vet2Tech provides veterans with scholarship funding for enrollment in approved technical job training programs that lead to sustainable wage jobs and career advancement opportunities.

Associate, Undergraduate or Graduate Degree Scholarships

Airgas Jerry Baker Scholarship, American Welding Society
Field: Welding Engineering or Welding Engineering Technology

The Airgas Jerry Baker Scholarship awards a $2,500 scholarship to an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in welding engineering or welding engineering technology. Priority is given to students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor.

BP Community Scholarship Program

The BP Community Scholarship Program serving the New York and northern New Jersey area has awarded nearly $3 million in scholarships to over 1,800 promising students. Recipients are entering a two-year of four-year college as full-time students and they are selected by a committee of participating station owners and operators.

Gary Sinise Foundation partnering with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is America’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children.  Established more than 50 years ago, the Scholarship Foundation awards college, vocational training, and technical school scholarships to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen, giving particular attention to those with a parent who has been killed or wounded in action, or who have demonstrated financial need.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and Marathon Petroleum Scholarship Program
Field: Human Resources, Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Marketing

The HSF/Marathon Petroleum Scholarship Program awards a $7,500 scholarship to juniors, seniors, 5th year seniors, 1st year graduate students in human resource management, and 1st year law students.  Recipients must be of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Koch Industries, Inc. Impact Scholarship
Field: Engineering or Computer Science

Koch Industries awards a one-time scholarship to sophomores and juniors attending an accredited 4-year college or university in the state of Kansas.  Student must be have a 3.0 GPA and major in engineering (chemical, mechanical, or electrical) or computer science.

Phillips 66 SHIELD Scholar

Phillips 66 awards scholarships to exceptional students from outstanding academic institutions.  The SHIELD Scholars program centers around four pillars: Involvement, Education, Leadership, and Development.  As a SHIELD Scholar, you benefit from enrichment activities, professional development, cultural events and community service, all designed to help you transition from student to professional.  The program offers internship opportunities, recognition and a $3,500 annual scholarship.

Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship and Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship
Field:  Engineering and Geosciences

The Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship and the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship were created to provide financial and career assistance to graduating high school seniors that are interested in the energy industry and demonstrate an aptitude in math and science.  In each program, Shell sponsors up to twenty one-year awards of $2,500.  Upon successful completion of first year of studies recipients may be eligible to receive a four-year renewable award of $5,000 annually.  The Incentive Fund Scholarship is awarded to a member of an underrepresented minority group.

SME Education Foundation Scholarships
Field:  Engineering or Manufacturing

The SME Education Foundation seeks is to inspire, prepare and support the next generation of engineers, technologists, and manufacturers by encouraging students to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). SME Education Foundation administers several scholarships for students planning to or already studying engineering or manufacturing at an undergraduate or graduate university.

Tesoro Youth Leadership Awards

Tesoro Industries provides twenty $2,500 college scholarships for outstanding young leaders. This scholarship was launched to encourage young scholars who are leading by example in their schools and communities.  Recipients are high school seniors graduating from one of the 19 states where Tesoro operates.
