IT Administrators are responsible for providing day-to-day technology and operational support to a company, developing and testing new technologies and maintaining a company’s networks and systems. IT Administrators work as a team on innovative initiatives that give their company a competitive advantage and fuel business growth.

Qualifications:  IT Administrators are comfortable working with computers. They are quick studies, independent learners, patient, and good teachers.  Familiarity with website design and creating computer networks is a plus.

Education: Most employers require a high school diploma or equivalent and a 2-year or 4-year degree in computer science or a related field. Experience in software development or computer networking is also encouraged if you do not have an upper-level degree.
